We got quite a bit of snow and cold weather here in early January. It usually doesn't get very cold here in the winter. In fact, I have said for a couple of years that
it could, in my opinion, get a little colder and that would be nice. Um, I didn't mean -12! And a couple of inches of snow paralyzed the city. What I wonder is this: I live on a street with a fire station. Why didn't we get plowed? Strange.
The kids wanted to build a snowman. And of course, on a -12 day, they chose the absolute coldest place to build one: directly on the riverbank, where it is really windy. The snow was too dry to build a snow man, but they had a lot of fun playing. Michael and I were frozen and had to practically beg/carry them back home. Next time, they can play in the courtyard out back.
